Chemical Peels

These treatments are medical-grade facials that are more powerful than those available over the counter or in spas. Chemical solutions come in various strengths, and chemical peels are often classified as either a light or superficial peel, medium peel or deep peel. They may include just one product, such as glycolic or salicylic or a combination of solutions.

During the procedure, the product is applied to the affected area (usually over the entire face). The applied agents then work to separate and "peel" the outer surface layers of the skin. These layers often contain dead skin, which is removed during the process. The treatments stimulate the generation of new skin cells through the healing process. During the application, patients may experience a temporary cool, warm or hot sensation. The number of treatments varies among individuals. A thorough evaluation is made by our aesthetician to determine the best treatment for your skin type. Downtime is often minimal, so there is no interruption in social or work activities.

Gel Peel

This peel is perfect for patients with sensitive skin. This treatment removes dead cells from the surface without irritating the skin. For optimal results, it is recommended to complete a series of sessions or perform in conjunction with other procedures or treatments.

Reconditioning & Firming Treatment

This treatment is ideal for dehydrated, aging, and environmentally-damaged skin. The use of specific cleansing, toning, masque, and protective products will help to leave a healthier, firmer appearance to the skin.

Alpha Beta Peel

This intermediate treatment is for a wide range of skin types and combines both alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids to minimize the appearance of surface lines, smooth out rough skin texture, aid in clearing acne, and dark spots. In addition, a vitamin C mask is added to boost skin radiance.

Micropeel

This three-step clinical procedure combines: dermaplaning, a chemical peel solution and a vitamin- C firming mask to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation (dark spots), laxity, dullness and skin imperfections. For optimal results, two series of 4-6 procedures per year are recommended.

Micropeel Plus

Micropeel Plus is a one-step clinical procedure designed to control breakouts, while improving texture. The formulation of salicylic acid assists in refining pores and reducing the appearance of acne spots. This powerful peel also features a 3% glycolic acid in each formulation to help improve skin texture, blotchiness and will help exfoliate away blackheads and whiteheads.

Pigment Balancing Mask (Peel)

This corrective treatment is a customizable chemical peel targeting hyperpigmentation (dark spots) to dramatically improve the uneven appearance of photodamaged, mottled skin after a series of 4-6 treatments. The clinical peel procedure combines high performance brightening and anti-inflammatory agents with a powerful exfoliating solution to accelerate cell renewal.

Express Peel/Acne Peel Our "Express Peel" is designed for the perfect skin "pick-me-up" for all clients with a busy schedule. A salicylic or glycolic peel brightens, smoothes and clarifies all skin types in just 20 minutes. Your skin will feel toned, refreshed immediately after this "mini peelv treatment.

This peel is the perfect compliment for acne treatment. The patients at Clear Dermatology and Aesthetics Center often see a dramatic improvement in their acne and dark spots after a series of peels. This peel is also priced more affordably so that more patients are able to enjoy the benefits. The express peel/acne peel can be done every 10 to 14 days.
